I am a first-year Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI). I am co-advised by Dr. Oliver Haimson and Dr.Michaelanne Dye. My research interests include life transitions, marginalization, online identity, human-computer interaction (HCI), and Information Communication Technologies & Development (ICTD).
I received my MS in Applied Data Science from Syracuse University School of Information Studies, where I was advised by Dr. Bryan Semaan. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a journalist in Beijing, China. I enjoy running, rock climbing, scuba diving, and mountaineering.
